A bit of backstory: I was that friend in elementary school who suggested we should clean your room and it would be sooo fun!, my nail polishes were lined up in rainbow order, and I attached post-its to my dresser drawers labelled school clothes, pajamas, etc.

But then, life happened. It got a little messy, I cleaned it up. I discovered systems that worked and some that failed miserably. And then I had kids and the work of staying organized was trickier with extra little hands in ev-e-ry-thing! My kids, more than anyone, challenge me to think creatively and put systems to the test. If it's too hard for the 4-year-old to master, it's not going to work for the busy 34-year-old.

I want you to know: Organizing is not magic! Any home can become disorganized without systems that are simple enough to get used consistently.
I really enjoy tackling an unruly space head on, armed with plastic bins and label tape, and figuring out how it can best function for the family using it.

My past nearly 20 years has focused on graphic design and art education - problem solving, creativity and an eye for visual harmony run deep. Now, I've paired those skills with my knack for tidying spaces to help others find peace in their own homes.
